Job summary

Moog is seeking an Offshore Supply Specialist in Blacksburg, VA (onsite). You will coordinate requisitions with international contract manufacturers, analyze costs, and generate purchase orders to support the Blacksburg facility.

Close collaboration with Sales, PM, Production, and Supply Chain is essential to prevent shortages. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or an Associate’s with coordinating experience, strong Excel and analytical skills, and excellent written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Process requisitions to international contract manufacturers, including cost analysis and PO generation.
• Identify production requirements at international sites to support Blacksburg operations.
• Coordinate with international sites and Purchasing to prevent inventory shortages.
• Serve as main communication channel between Blacksburg and international sites across Sales, PM, Production and Supply Chain.
• Assist in resolving problem invoices and ensure compliance with purchasing policies.

You will report to the Value Stream Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, Virginia.To be considered for the Offshore Supply Specialist, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:* Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of coordinating experience or an associate’s degree and 5 years of coordinating experience.* Experience in Microsoft Excel and utilizing mathematical skills* Demonstrated attention to detail in task execution* Proven ability to analyze situations and solve problems efficiently* Strong oral and written communication skills* Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining organization* Professional composure in challenging situationsAs an Offshore Supply Specialist, you will:* Process requisitions to our international contract manufacturers. This process includes, but is not limited to, cost analysis, approval process, and purchase order generation.* Identify, prioritize, and communicate production requirements at the international sites to support operational needs in the Blacksburg facility.* Partner with international sites and Purchasing department to identify potential inventory shortages to prevent production gaps.* Serve as the communication channel between the Blacksburg site and the international sites.
