Job summary

Kiewit Offshore Services in Ingleside, TX, is seeking a Quality Inspector to support fabrication, construction, and installation activities. You will perform inspections, surveillance, and documentation to verify compliance with project specs, procedures, and codes.

Based in the Ingleside yard, the role requires knowledge of Oil & Gas construction, reading drawings, and adherence to ITPs. AWS CWI is a plus; long hours and night shifts may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret drawings, specifications, and quality procedures.
• AWS CWI preferred.
• Ability to gain additional certifications for project testing/inspection.
• Able to work extended hours and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections and surveillance for structural steel, piping, welding, bolting, and installation.
• Verify work meets industry standards, drawings, specs, ITPs, and project procedures.
• Understand project scope and schedule for the assignment.
• Identify and report rework and non-conforming issues.
