Job summary

LaShip (an Edison Chouest Offshore affiliate) is seeking a Pipefitter to plan piping layouts, measure and cut pipes, and operate hand torches and shop machines. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and hands-on vocational training, with the ability to pass company performance tests.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write alphabetically and numerically.
• Must pass company-specific performance standards test.

Responsibilities

• Plans layout of piping.
• Measures and cuts pipe to specified lengths.
• Uses hand torch and shop machines to make cuts.
