Job summary

Occidental Petroleum Corporation is seeking Offshore Instrumentation & Electrical Technicians for the Marco Polo platform in the Gulf of Mexico. You will maintain and troubleshoot electric and instrumentation systems, ensuring safe and efficient production while complying with offshore safety standards.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on offshore experience, a strong problem-solving mindset, and a commitment to safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• THUET, T-2 Certificate minimum.
• At least one year of experience on a GOM Oxy Platform.
• Familiarity with Permit To Work (PTW) systems.
• Ability to interpret Process and Instrument Drawings (P&IDs).
• Experience in installation, repair and troubleshooting of instrumentation and electrical equipment.
• Knowledge of power electrical installation works (power cables, control circuits, transformers).
• Ability to troubleshoot PLC and networking drive control systems.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and emergency procedures.
• Ability to assist with regulatory required testing, inspections, and paperwork.
