Job summary

Danos seeks a Deepwater Operator A to oversee startup, operation, monitoring and shutdown of offshore process and utility systems for an offshore production facility, ensuring safety and quality compliance.

You will test, calibrate and maintain equipment, witness third‑party calibrations, keep production records and coordinate logistics, while sustaining a safe, environmentally responsible operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 4-6 years offshore production operator experience preferred.
• Experience with permit-to-work (PTW) systems.
• Medically fit to offshore international standards such as ENG1 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Start up, operate, monitor and shut down process and utility systems.
• Monitor, maintain and optimize process parameters within operating requirements.
• Ensure sampling is carried out and sample results are acted upon.
• Troubleshoot to maximize quality and delivery volume.
• Maintain discharge water quality within guidelines.
• Monitor electrical/hydraulic control panels and safety systems.
• Submit accurate production reporting daily or as required.
• Witness third party calibrations for verification of meter factors and volumes.
• Prove export oil meters.
• Carry out operations in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
• Operate offshore facility per customer requirements.
• Test, calibrate, maintain and inspect equipment.
• Complete mandatory paperwork for customers and government agencies.
• Coordinate logistics for facility.
• Chemical treating and handling.
• Facilitate maintenance operations with isolations as required.
• Operate under PTW system, Toolbox Talk and Risk Assessments.
• Advise maintenance personnel on hazards of plant and equipment.
• Maintain clear communications during maintenance operations.
• Control activities of vendor and subcontractor personnel.
• Create and maintain effective working relationships.
• Create and maintain positive work culture.
