Job summary

Danos, LLC in the Gulf of Mexico region seeks a Deepwater Operator B responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining process and utility systems offshore, ensuring safe and efficient production.

You will execute start-up/shut-down, monitor process parameters, conduct sampling, coordinate logistics, and supervise vendors while following PTW and safety protocols. 1–2 years offshore experience and ENG1 or equivalent medical clearance required.

Qualifications

• Offshore experience required (1–2 years).
• Proficient in Permit to Work processes.
• Medically fit for offshore work per international standards (ENG1 or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Start up, operate, monitor, and shut down process and utility systems.
• Monitor and optimize process parameters (level, flow, temperature, pressure, etc.).
• Conduct sampling and take action based on results.
• Troubleshoot to optimize sales quality and delivery volume.
• Maintain discharge water quality within guidelines.
• Operate electrical/hydraulic control panels, safety devices, and Fire and Gas Systems.
• Submit accurate daily production reports as required by company and client.
• Witness third-party calibrations to verify meter factors and volumes.
• Prove export oil meters.
• Operate offshore production facilities according to customer requirements.
• Test, calibrate, maintain, and inspect equipment.
• Complete mandatory paperwork required by customers and government agencies.
• Coordinate logistics for the facility.
• Handle chemical treatment processes.
• Facilitate maintenance operations by applying/removing isolations as needed.
• Operate under the Permit to Work (PTW) system, conduct Toolbox Talks, and perform Risk Assessments.
• Advise maintenance personnel on plant and equipment hazards.
• Maintain clear communication during maintenance operations.
• Supervise activities of vendors and subcontractors.
• Foster effective working relationships and a positive work culture.
