Job summary

Danos in Houma, LA seeks a Deepwater Operator A to oversee startup, operation, monitoring and shutdown of process and utility systems offshore. You will ensure operations meet quality standards and comply with environmental guidelines while maintaining accurate records.

The role requires 4–6 years offshore experience, a high school diploma, and a valid permit to work and ENG1 or equivalent medical clearance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 4-6 years offshore experience as a production operator.
• Good experience of permit to work.
• Medically fit to offshore international standards such as ENG1 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Start up, operate, monitor and shut down process and utility systems.
• Monitor and optimize process parameters to meet specifications.
• Ensure sampling is carried out and sample results are acted upon.
• Witness calibrations and verify meter factors and volumes.
• Operate electrical/hydraulic control panels and safety systems.
• Submit daily production reporting.
• Coordinate offshore facility logistics and safety procedures.
• Adhere to PTW system, toolbox talks and risk assessments.
• Manage vendor and subcontractor activities.
• Maintain clear communications and foster a positive work culture.
