Job summary

Danos, LLC is seeking a Deepwater Crane Operator to safely operate and maintain cranes on an offshore procurement platform in the Gulf of Mexico. You will follow established procedures, monitor crane performance, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities include signaling, lifting and relocating equipment between the platform and boats, providing leadership to riggers, and conducting routine inspections.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of offshore crane operating experience.
• Crane Operator Certification.
• Experience operating Seatrax cranes preferred.
• Deepwater operating experience preferred.
• Mechanical experience or aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate levers and pedals to control the crane.
• Follow hand signals to raise, lower, and rotate the boom or load.
• Lift and move equipment or material on the platform and between boats in various sea conditions.
• Maintain and clean crane equipment.
• Provide leadership to construction riggers.
• Conduct safety and operation inspections of the crane.
