Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Texas seeks a skilled Welder for an offshore container depot repair facility. You will perform structural welding on damaged intermodal containers to meet ISO and IICL standards and ensure offshore safety compliance.

Proven experience in heavy industrial or maritime welding with MIG/TIG/arc skills is required, along with AWS/ASME certifications and ability to read repair estimates and drawings. Offshore safety training is preferred and a clean, safe welding bay is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Proven welding experience in heavy industrial or maritime environments.
• Certifications in SMAW, FCAW or MIG welding.
• Ability to read repair estimates and structural drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding repairs (MIG, TIG, arc) on containers, frames, doors and corners.
• Conduct structural repairs and modifications to depot repair standards.
• Use torches, grinders and fabrication tools to prepare surfaces for welding.
• Read repair estimates, work orders and drawings and ensure quality.
• Maintain a clean welding bay and PPE compliance.
• Complete pre- and post-weld inspections and repair documentation.
