Job summary

Envision Recruitment is partnering with a San Francisco robotics startup to hire a Reinforcement Learning Researcher who will own offline RL research and push the boundaries of robot learning. You will develop new approaches to goal-conditioned RL, value learning, policy representations and model-based RL, with research deployed on real robots.

This on-site role in San Francisco demands a high talent bar and offers a salary between $200k–$350k+, plus relocation and visa sponsorship to the right

Qualifications

• Strong foundational RL research experience, particularly offline RL.
• A PhD, or a Master's with an exceptional publication record
• Published research at leading conferences
• Experience developing or improving RL methods, rather than simply applying existing algorithms
• A genuine passion for bringing cutting-edge AI research into real-world robotics

Responsibilities

• Own offline RL research and drive new approaches to robot learning.
• Develop and explore areas such as goal-conditioned RL, value learning, policy representations and model-based RL.
• See your research deployed on real robots and impact industrial robotics.
