Job summary

The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma seeks an Official Court Reporter to provide verbatim reporting of proceedings and to transcribe those proceedings upon request.

This role is part of the Clerk’s Office and reports to the Clerk of Court or designee; reporters file transcripts with the Clerk and adhere to the Judicial Conference requirements. The federal Judiciary is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Official Court Reporters provide verbatim reporting of proceedings and transcription upon request.
• Must comply with Judicial Conference requirements and Court Reporter Management Plan.

Responsibilities

• Provide verbatim reporting of court proceedings.
• Prepare transcripts and file copies with the Clerk of Court as required.
• Coordinate and manage documentation in accordance with court policies.
