Qualifications

  • Four-year or graduate degree in business, engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, program management, marketing, operations, engineering, or NPI.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional product introduction or go-to-market programs on a global scale.
  • Experience across hardware, software, solutions, and services preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Owns end-to-end NPI process across all product development and launch phases.
  • Establishes governance, timelines, readiness reviews, milestone tracking, and escalation.
  • Owns tools and processes for product introductions, launch calendars, and executive reporting.
  • Coordinates cross-functional activities to ensure successful execution.
  • Drives risk management, issue resolution, and escalation throughout the NPI cycle.

Office NPI and Launch Readiness Manager

Description

This role is responsible for leading the new NPI and Launch Readiness team for the Office Print business. The role serves as the central coordination point across Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Commercial Organization, Supply Chain, Regions, and Operations to ensure successful introduction of hardware, software, services, and solutions worldwide. The role drives NPI process excellence, launch readiness, sales enablement, strategic introduction planning, and cross-functional execution to ensure products are introduced successfully and consistently across global markets.

Responsibilities
NPI Process & Program Management
  • Owns and continuously improves the end-to-end NPI process, ensuring effective execution across all phases of product development and launch.
  • Establishes and manages NPI governance, timelines, launch schedules, readiness reviews, milestone tracking, and escalation processes.
  • Owns the tools, operating mechanisms, and processes used to manage product introductions, including launch calendars, readiness tracking, launch windows, and executive reporting.
  • Coordinates cross-functional activities across Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Commercial Organization, Supply Chain, and Regional teams to ensure successful execution.
  • Drives issue resolution, risk management, dependency tracking, and escalation management throughout the NPI cycle.
  • Ensures launch deliverables are completed on schedule and supports executive readiness reviews and launch decision-making.
Launch & External Engagement
  • Leads execution of launch activities associated with new hardware, software, solutions, services, and portfolio updates.
  • Partners with Product Management and Marketing teams to develop launch narratives including value propositions, messaging, claims and proof points.
  • Coordinates launch support for key customer events, executive briefings, analyst engagements, media activities, and major product announcement opportunities.
  • Supports account teams with launch-related customer engagements, customer visits, advisory board activities, and executive customer briefings.
  • Ensures launch content, messaging, and external communications are aligned across products, solutions, and markets.
  • Partners with global and regional marketing organizations to ensure successful execution of launch campaigns and market introductions.
Sales Enablement & Market Readiness
  • Leads worldwide readiness planning to ensure sales teams, category teams, channel organizations, and marketing teams are prepared for upcoming product introductions.
  • Partners closely with Commercial Organization, Marketing, Product Management, and Regional teams to develop launch readiness plans and training strategies.
  • Develops and coordinates internal briefings, launch materials, training content, and field communications to support product introductions.
  • Collaborates with competitive intelligence teams to ensure effective sell-against materials, competitive positioning, and objection-handling tools are available to the field.
  • Works with Marketing teams to ensure sales tools, content assets, partner materials, and readiness resources are available for internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Acts as a key connector between GBU, regions, and channel organizations to ensure consistent launch execution worldwide.
Strategic Window Planning & Portfolio Introduction Strategy
  • Develops and maintains a rolling multi-year introduction roadmap spanning hardware, software, services, solutions, and key portfolio initiatives.
  • Partners with Product Management leadership to define introduction cadence, launch sequencing, portfolio priorities, and strategic planning assumptions.
  • Ensures product introduction strategies reflect both hardware and software roadmaps and support broader business objectives.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve market impact through coordinated launch timing, integrated solutions introductions, and portfolio-level planning.
  • Drives alignment across organizations on introduction priorities, launch windows, and major go-to-market milestones. Includes driving strategic engagement forums with CO and market teams to align on long-term product and solution roadmaps.
Leadership & Organizational Impact
  • Leads a team of NPI and launch professionals, overseeing staffing, prioritization, performance management, coaching, and career development.
  • Serves as the recognized subject matter expert for NPI execution, launch management, launch readiness, and portfolio introduction planning.
  • Builds strong partnerships across Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Commercial Organization, Regional teams, Operations, and executive leadership.
  • Drives continuous improvement of launch effectiveness, launch processes, tools, governance structures, and organizational capabilities.
  • Influences senior leaders across the business to drive alignment, accountability, and successful execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Establishes best practices and operating mechanisms that improve launch consistency, readiness, and business outcomes across the portfolio.
Education & Experience Recommended
  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Product Management, Operations, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in Product Management, Program Management, Marketing, Operations, Engineering, or New Product Introduction.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional product introduction or go-to-market programs on a global scale.
  • Experience working across hardware, software, solutions, and services businesses preferred.

Salary

The pay range for this role is $105,050 to $161,800 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
