This position administers a variety of Agricultural Finance programs, including the Rural Finance Authority (RFA) loan programs and other loan and assistance programs. This position serves the needs of the Rural Finance Authority clientele and Agricultural Finance and Budget section staff and clientele through coordination and implementation of essential administrative services required for timely and efficient completion of section responsibilities.

This position is located in St. Paul and may have the ability to telework parttime.
To facilitate proper years of service crediting, please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month and year for each job held.
Typing and data entry skills sufficient to enter text and numbers into spreadsheets, computer systems and applications. Typing skills of net 45 WPM (Words Per Minute) or better measured on a 3 or more minute typing test. Individuals invited for interview will be required to provide typing test results.
Experience providing prompt and accurate information to customers in person, on the phone, and through email and other written or electronic correspondence.
Strong written and oral communication skills sufficient to explain policies, procedures, and statues as they pertain to loan products to lawyers, bankers, farmers and ag business management instructors clearly, effectively, and in a positive manner.
Strong organizational skills sufficient to prioritize workload, work independently, and meet statutory and Legislative Audit requirements as related to this position.
Must have sufficient computer skills to generate needed forms, applications, correspondence, reports and informational materials, and to update spreadsheets and databases for the purposes of maintaining account information.
The ability to celebrate diversity and a strong commitment to a respectful and inclusive work environment.
Clear understanding of the legal forms needed and procedures to originate, close and secure loans for agricultural land and depreciable assets.
A general knowledge of farming is helpful when talking with agricultural clientele.
Basic Access Database programming knowledge.
Experience working with The Statewide Integrated Financial Tools (SWIFT).
CERTIFICATION: Authority for Local Purchase (ALP) Certified at the $25,000 level
Ability to focus and work well under pressure sufficient to complete the diverse responsibilities and interruptions within required time constraints.
