ArborScape Inc. is a locally owned landscape construction and tree care company serving the Upper Valley since 2002. We're looking for an organized, people-focused Office Manager to keep our office running smoothly and our team supported. This role is the central hub of our operations — you'll work closely with leadership, field crews, and the business side of the company every day.

If you're the kind of person who likes variety, takes pride in keeping things organized, and enjoys being the person everyone can count on, this could be a great fit.

What You'll Do
  • Oversee daily office operations — supplies, equipment, subscriptions, communications, and keeping the workspace clean and functional.
  • Provide executive support to the company President: manage calendars, coordinate meetings, organize priorities, and draft internal communications.
  • Support hiring and onboarding: post open positions, coordinate interviews, prepare offer letters and employment paperwork, and maintain our applicant tracking system.
  • Serve as a communication hub between field crews, managers, and leadership — relaying updates, fielding questions, and keeping information flowing.
  • Provide daily and weekly weather updates and field-relevant information to crew leads.
  • Assist team leads with reports, documentation, and coordination as needed.
  • Help maintain and improve office systems, processes, and procedures — if something\'s inefficient, we want you to fix it.
  • Coordinate safety training logistics and maintain employee records.
  • Manage internal apparel inventory — ordering and distribution.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and in-person interactions with staff, clients, and partners with professionalism and warmth.
What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Strong organizational skills with follow-through — you don\'t let things fall through the cracks.
  • Clear, professional communication — written and verbal.
  • Comfort managing multiple priorities in a small, fast-moving business.
  • Proficiency with common office software, email platforms, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Ability to work reliably from our Woodstock, VT office.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in an office management or administrative role.
  • Familiarity with construction, landscaping, tree care, or related trade industries.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and basic HR processes.
  • Comfortable on MacOS.
What We Offer
  • $24–$28/hour based on experience
  • Full-time, year-round position with weekly paychecks
  • Health insurance supplement
  • Paid time off (PTO) and 10 paid holidays
  • Supplemental life and accident insurance
  • Continued education support
  • Company-provided apparel
  • Overtime and bonus pay for excellent work ethic and customer service
  • A supportive, people-first team that values your contributions
