The role requires strong document control, contract review, and coordination with engineers, contractors, and project managers. Qualifications include four years as an Office Engineer, proficiency with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat, and credentials such as NICET II or CT PE/license.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Contract Manager, Compass and AASHTOWare Project is required.
  • A minimum of four years of experience as an Office Engineer maintaining project records.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications; strong oral and written communication skills; ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain a filing system for project records (drawings, specs, schedules, RFIs, change orders, pay estimates, manuals).
  • Review contracts to determine required documentation and due dates for each project phase.

Keville Enterprises Inc., an established Construction Management Consulting & Inspection firm, is seeking a qualified Office Engineer to maintain project records on public and private projects for highway, road, bridge, rail, facilities, water/wastewater, and airport projects.

Keville has been serving the Construction Management Industry since 1991. A WBE/DBE Certified Construction management and inspection firm, Keville specializes in providing a full spectrum of construction management and support services as an owner's representative on public and private projects.

Duties: The Office Engineer shall establish and maintain filing system for project records, such as engineering drawings and specifications, schedules, requests for information, change orders, pay estimates, technical manuals etc. Review contracts to determine documentation required and their due dates for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and construction processes. Monitor status of project to ensure documentation is submitted according to the schedule. Review and verify project documents and reports for completeness, format, and compliance with contract requirements. Submit project documentation to management for approval and transmit documents back to customer. Prepare change orders, claims, material testing reports, and monthly pay estimates. Work with engineers, contractors, managers and others regarding project and performs other duties as assigned.
