  • Collaborative team player in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Experience using EPIC is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Answer assigned phone lines promptly and professionally, directing calls appropriately and prioritizing effectively.
  • Manage communication channels for the clinical team, ensuring messages are prioritized, routed appropriately, and addressed in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate appointments, tests, consultations, treatments, and surgeries based on clinical priority, providing clear instructions to patients.
  • Prepare various documents, including memos, correspondence, reports, and presentations, adhering to mandated formats and readability standards.
  • Handle authorizations and reimbursements for physician travel and meetings, maintaining licensures and memberships for attending physicians.

Our Office Coordinators are an essential part of our clinical teams and often the first point of contact for our patients. In this role, you’ll help keep busy clinical practices running smoothly while supporting physicians, nurses, advanced practice providers, and patients throughout the day.

Role Overview
  • Answer assigned phone lines promptly and professionally, directing calls appropriately and prioritizing effectively
  • Manage communication channels for the clinical team, ensuring messages are prioritized, routed appropriately, and addressed in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate appointments, tests, consultations, treatments, and surgeries based on clinical priority, providing clear instructions to patients

  • Experience working in EPIC is a plus

Additional Information
  • Location: The general location will be on the Upper East Side. The exact location will be determined during the recruitment process
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm, hybrid schedule after training, based on departmental needs

Pay Range: $24.05 - $36.21
