Job summary

The Juris Agency is seeking a part-time cleaner to perform general office cleaning in Reading, with evenings Monday through Friday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Flexible start times after 5pm are available. This role emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, dusting, restroom restocking, and trash disposal. Prior cleaning experience is a plus, and a valid driver’s license and transport are preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning/janitorial experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to take direction, work with minimal supervision, and function cooperatively as part of a team.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
• Requires attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and energy.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English with fluency.
• Able to follow schedules, keep commitments and demonstrate professionalism.
• Able to bend, reach and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Have a valid driver’s license and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors, stairs, and other surfaces inside buildings.
• Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas.
• Clean and dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, and fixtures.
• Wash window sills and interior/exterior glass as needed.
• Clean bathrooms and restock supplies daily.
• Collect and dispose of building trash daily in designated areas.

Immediate opening for a part-time person to provide cleaning in an office environment. We are looking for a responsible person, with a strong work ethic who has strong attention to detail to perform general office cleaning duties.

Typical Schedule::

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday evenings
• 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm (start time is flexible after 5pm)

Responsibilities

• Sweep & mop floors, stairs, and other surfaces (inside buildings).
• Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas.
• Clean and dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, etc.
• Wash window sills; glass in interior doors, partition, and specified windows.
• Wash glass and trim at entrance doors, interior/exterior- Wash/spot clean interior walls as appropriate daily.
• Clean bathrooms and restock paper supplies daily. Standard bathroom procedures are to damp-wipe glass surfaces, empty wastebaskets, service soap, and toilet paper dispensers, dust sills, clean tile walls, shelves, stall partitions, sweep/mop/scrub floors, etc. on rotating schedules.
• Collect building trash daily placing it in an approved container including replacing liners in wastebaskets and placing collected trash in designated collection area for subsequent removal.

Requirements
