Colonial Group in New Rochelle, NY is seeking a janitorial worker to maintain a multi-purpose office building. The role involves floor care, restroom sanitation, trash handling, carpet extraction, window cleaning, light repairs, and general cleaning tasks.

The candidate must have prior janitorial experience and a valid driver’s license. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7am to 3pm with a 1-hour unpaid lunch, totaling 35 hours per week.

Responsabilités

• Clean a multi-purpose office building.
• Perform floor care using buffers and floor scrubbers.
• Restroom cleaning, sanitizing and stocking.
• Trash and recyclables management.
• Carpet cleaning with carpet extractor.
• Window cleaning.
• Light painting/repairs.
• Vacuuming and dusting.
• Keep walkways clear of snow, ice and debris.
• Assist with office moves or special cleaning projects as directed.

Hours: Mon-Fri 7a-3p (1 hour unpaid lunch) 35hrs

Rate: $18.04/hr + Benefits

OVERVIEW OF PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:

This position is responsible for the cleaning of a multi-purpose office building.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

• Floor Care (Knowledge of buffer machines and Floor Scrubbers helpful).
• Responsible for keeping the restrooms cleaned, sanitized, and stocked
• Trash and recyclables
• Carpet Cleaning (Use of carpet extractor)
• Clean all windows
• Light Painting/repairs
• Vacuuming/dusting
• Keep walkways free of snow, ice and debris
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Communicate effectively, openly and honestly, with staff and leaders on a consistent basis

Requirements

-Previous janitorial experience required

-Knowledge of a floor buffer a plus.

-Valid Driver's license required

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONAL / ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT:

This position will assist with any office moves or special cleaning projects as directed by supervisor
