Job summary

Shopko in Kenosha, WI is seeking a Full-Time Clerical teammate to support the Optical center team. You will greet patients, answer calls, book appointments, and manage patient files while performing general office duties to keep the center running smoothly.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

CUSTOMER SERVICE

• Greet patients and customers
• Answer the telephone in a professional manner
• Book appointments accurately
• Other duties as assigned

OPERATIONAL STANDARDS

• Process transactions in the optical billing and point of sale systems
• Process medical billing information
• Organize and file patient and customer records

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in an office is preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Able to handle multiple customer interactions/phone calls at a time
• Excellent organizational skills
• Able to work cross-functionally with excellent attention to detail and follow through
• Solid interpersonal relationship skills

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & WORK REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization through written and two-way verbal communication
