Aging Kingdom Homecare in York & Cumberland Counties, Maine seeks compassionate Office Administrator / Caregiver to join our growing team. Caregivers provide compassionate, respectful care to clients in their homes and communities, with both caregiving and office duties possible.

We offer a flexible schedule, growth opportunities, on-the-job training, and 24/7 administrator support. No relocation required; experience preferred and a criminal history check is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of personal care, home care, hospital, nursing home, or direct-care experience preferred.
• Compassionate and dependable approach to client care.
• Ability to read, write, and follow directions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with clients and supervisors.
• Willingness to participate in professional meetings and training.
• Successful completion of a required criminal history check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Prepare meals.
• Provide companionship and respite care.
• Assist with shopping, errands, and transportation.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Report changes or unusual incidents.
• Respond appropriately in emergency situations.
• Complete other duties as assigned

About the Role
