Job summary

The Kentucky Department of Corrections, Division of Adult Institutions, is seeking an Offender Information Specialist I to perform sentencing calculations for parole eligibility and maintain offender records at Southeast State Correctional Complex.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process open records requests.
• Work in systems such as the Kentucky Offender Management System (KOMS), Court-Net, E-Warrants and the Kentucky Sex Offender Registry System (SOR).
• Review inmate records for transfers.
• Schedule and maintain trips and logs.
• Work directly with the Office of the Courts and Court Officials as well as Local and State Police.
• Complete sentence calculations.
• Compile various reports.
• Respond to inquiries.
