1st Shift - Slaughter Plant

Dept: 169 - Offal Operator

Shift Time: 4:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Mon - Fri, Saturdays as needed.

Pay Rate: $18.50

Summary

Maintains conditions in offal by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Cleans the offal area.
  • Ensures belts and augers are turned on or off when changing trailers.
  • Reports any mechanical issues that may arise, such as pump failure, etc.
  • Assists in pumping of blood into blood tanks.
  • Reports to lead or supervisor changing out of trailers.
  • Performs various production labor duties as assigned by Supervisor.
