Job summary

Furlani Foods Corporation in Oak Creek, WI is seeking a Distribution Supervisor to lead the Distribution team, ensure safety and accuracy, and balance labor across shifts. You will oversee warehouse technology, from RF to packing and shipping systems, and supervise a team dedicated to quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires open availability seven days a week (6:00 PM–3:30 AM), experience supervising others, and knowledge of LEAN, 5S, Kaizen, TMS and ERP.

Qualifications

• Must have open availability 7 days a week (Shift time 6pm -3:30 AM)
• Previous responsible for supervising and directing others
• Experience with Lean and 5S and Kaizens
• Experience with TMS and ERP programs

Responsibilities

• Safety is Priority 1—Ensure distribution safety per Furlani and OSHA standards.
• Balance labor between shifts and plants by executing weekly workflow.
• Ensure all department equipment (RF, packing systems, shipping systems, forklifts) are functioning.
• Develop and communicate KPIs/metrics for Distribution Team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Safety is Priority 1- Ensure the Distribution Safety is always working in accordance with Furlani and OSHA standards. Awhile always equipment, racking systems, shipping/receiving doors, dock plates and yard are free from hazards
• Execute on the weekly workflow to balance labor between shifts and plants
• Ensure all department equipment (warehouse technology including RF, packing systems, shipping systems, and forklifts etc) are functioning, as required
• Developing and communicating KPI's/metrics for all Distribution Team members, which will help measure employee productivity and effectiveness

• Experience with Process Improvement tools LEAN and 5S and Kaizens
• Experience with TMS and ERP programs
