The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, willingness to learn, and a commitment to safety. Overtime and weekend hours may be necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to safely operate haul trucks and mobile equipment or willingness to learn.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
• Commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.
• Regular and predictive attendance is an essential function of the job.

Responsibilities

• Operate off-road haul trucks and other mobile equipment safely and efficiently.
• Transport crushed stone and aggregate from loaders, hoppers, and bins to stockpile locations.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections.
• Report equipment defects, maintenance needs, and safety concerns.
• Follow haul routes, traffic patterns, and quarry safety procedures.
