Tri State General Contractors is seeking a highly motivated Automotive / Race Shop Technician to support daily operations of a professional off-road racing team. You will assist with race vehicle preparation, maintenance, repairs, shop organization, inventory management, and race event support.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, organized, dependable, and passionate about motorsports and high-performance off-road vehicles, with the ability to travel to races, test sessions, and

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
1-3 years of automotive, powersports, fabrication, diesel, or motorsports experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand and power tools.
Ability to travel up to 25-50% and lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

Assist with maintenance, inspection, repair, and preparation of race vehicles and support equipment.
Perform routine service, diagnostics, component replacement, and race-ready inspections.
Prepare, clean, and detail vehicles for competition, testing, and promotional events.
Install and maintain race components while ensuring safety and performance standards.
