Job summary

Vulcan Materials Company is seeking an Off-Road Haul Truck Driver to safely and efficiently operate heavy haul trucks within quarries, pits, yards or plants. You will transport crushed stone, sand and gravel, and other materials, while complying with Vulcan and government regulations.

The role requires basic maintenance checks, thorough inspections, and collaboration with maintenance teams to ensure reliable operation under varying conditions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate off-road haul trucks to transport material within Vulcan facilities.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of truck controls and functions, including air brakes and safety procedures.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and report maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Perform basic maintenance checks on the truck such as fluid levels and tire pressure.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams for repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Washing of the haul truck may be required for thorough inspection.
