Job summary

Charah Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced truck operator to safely run dump and water trucks at designated sites. You will load, unload, and coordinate with crew while upholding safety and company policies.

Requirements include a valid license and at least one year of truck experience; night, weekend, and overtime work may be needed. Position supports local projects in the United States with a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Minimum one-year experience operating trucks required.
• Experience driving in a construction or similar environment preferred.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in ash management, structural fills and landfills preferred.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive and maneuver dump trucks in an off-road setting.
• Operate water trucks to suppress particle build-up and maintain air quality on site.
• Safely unload material into designated areas.
• Coordinate machine actions with other activities, positioning or moving loads in response to signals from crew members.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when maintenance is needed.
• Adjust controls of machines to exact positions as necessary.
• Learn, follow, and promote all safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
