Job summary

Security Industry Specialists, Inc. seeks a part-time security professional in Los Angeles, CA. You will provide exceptional customer service, manage access control, and respond to emergencies on-site while maintaining a safe environment for clients and visitors.

The role requires law enforcement experience and active certifications, including POST, CCW, and firearms qualifications, with travel up to 50% and flexible shifts across all days. Weekly pay and PTO are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Three+ years of law enforcement experience.
• Active/retired law enforcement status.
• POST certification.
• Active CCW and Exposed Firearms permits.
• Annual firearms requalification or training course.
• Complete and maintain state guard certification as prescribed by state law.
• Must be a dependable team player with business maturity and enthusiasm, with the ability to deliver a high level of customer service.
• Domestic and/or international travel up to 50% of time may be required.
• Flexibility to work any shifts on any day of the week (Mon-Sun) and assist with overtime when needed.

• Proof of annual firearms requalification OR annual firearms training course
• Complete and maintain state guard certification as prescribed by presiding state law, as well as all client-requested certification; all documentation and fees are the responsibility of the employee unless otherwise noted
• Must be a dependable team player with business maturity and enthusiasm, with the ability to deliver a high level of customer service
• Domestic and/or International Travel up to 50% of time may be required
• Have flexibility to work any shifts on any day of the week (Mon-Sun) and willingness to assist the team with overtime when needed
