A security services provider in Torrance, California is looking for Security Officers. Candidates must have extensive law enforcement experience, a strong sense of judgment, and good conflict management skills. Responsibilities include responding to emergencies, maintaining reports, and ensuring safety protocols. Qualifications

• Be a U.S. Citizen and 21 years of age or older.
• Active or Retired Sworn Law Enforcement with current POST Certification.
• Minimum three years of Law Enforcement or prisoner handling experience.
• Physically capable of standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Law Enforcement Officer or 3 years in related detention/military police roles.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be physically capable of standing/walking for 8+ hours.
• Pass a comprehensive background check.

Specific Requirements

• Be a U.S. Citizen and is 21 years of age or older.
• Active or Retired Sworn Law Enforcement with current POST Certification.
• Agency ID Card with CCW Firearms Endorsement (Required).
• Valid BSIS Armed Security License.
• Must have at a minimum three (3) years of experience as a Law Enforcement Officer with arrest authority or three (3) years of prisoner handling and detention experience as a Corrections, Detention, or Military Police Officer.
• Hold a high school diploma or General Equivalency Development (GED) credential.
• Must be physically capable of standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods (8+ hours).
• Strong judgment, conflict de‑de-escalation skills, and emotional intelligence.
• Have an honorable or general discharge if a Veteran.
• Must pass a comprehensive background check.

• Maintain detailed and accurate reports and records when required.
• Communicate professionally with leadership, team members, and customers.
