Security Industry Specialists, Inc. is seeking an Off Duty Officer in Boston, MA. This full-time role focuses on advanced planning, threat assessment, and professional protection for a range of clients from Fortune 500 to entertainment executives.

You will support multiple divisions, including Retail and Special Operations, and report to the Operations Manager. The position offers hourly pay of $40 with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Three plus years of law enforcement experience.
• Post certification.
• Active CCW and Exposed Firearms permits.
• State guard certification required and maintained as prescribed by state law and client needs.
• Willing to travel up to 50% domestically or internationally.
• Flexible to work shifts any day of the week including overtime when needed.

Job Details: Job Location: Boston, MA 02116, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $40.00 - $40.00 Hourly, About the role:

The Off-Duty Officer (ODO) provides a safe and secure environment for the client. The focus of the ODO is specialized client management with a focus on advanced planning, threat assessment, and problem-solving. Management can be implemented through one-on-one security protection, residential protection, and/or an elaborate tracking or monitoring system. The ODO team is chosen from a cross-section of Federal, State, and local law enforcement to provide security services ranging from Fortune 500 companies to entertainment industry executives, major special events, and any other type of venue requiring a secure presence. The ODO reports to the Operations Manager.

The Off Duty Officer (ODO) supports all divisions of the company, including but not limited to Retail, Special Operations, and Operations.

In this role, your responsibilities will be:

• Must be flexible and possess the ability to function in stressful situations
• Ability to work independently and provide exceptional customer service to our clients
• Build a safe and friendly setting for visitors and clients in a professional manner, as well as safeguarding client assets
• Observe for unusual activity and respond immediately and safely to emergency situations on-site
• Investigation and surveillance support
• Product escort
• Executive protection
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications:

• Three plus years of law enforcement experience
• Active/retired law enforcement
• POST certification
• Active CCW and Exposed Firearms permits
• Proof of annual firearms requalification OR annual firearms training course
• Complete and maintain state guard certification as prescribed by presiding state law, as well as all client-requested certification; all documentation and fees are the responsibility of the employee unless otherwise noted
• Must be a dependable team player with business maturity and enthusiasm, with the ability to deliver a high level of customer service
• Domestic and/or International Travel up to 50% of time may be required
• Have flexibility to work any shifts on any day of the week (Mon-Sun) and willingness to assist the team with overtime when needed
