The Cromeens Law Firm seeks an Of Counsel Attorney to provide litigation leadership and trusted counsel to executives. You will stay current with evolving laws and contribute to the firm's legal knowledge base while drafting agreements and other important documents.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in law or related field.
  • Doctor of Jurisprudence required.
  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Kansas.
  • Exceptional communication skills (oral and written).
  • Ability to work through complex issues with professionalism.

Job description

Of Counsel Attorney
  • Handle litigation
  • Give Accurate and timely counsel to executives
  • Keep up with current changes on all relevant areas of laws and contributing to the enhancement of the knowledge base of the company’s legal function
  • Give accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics
  • Collaborate with management to devise efficient defense strategies
  • Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advise on possible legal issues
  • Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc.), creating relations of trust
  • Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights
  • Deal with complex matters
  • Conduct your work with integrity and responsibility
  • Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation
  • Specifying internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
  • Doctor of Jurisprudence
  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Kansas
  • Exceptional communication skills (oral and written).
  • Ability to work through complex issues.
