Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Sales & Account Management Professional in the United States to drive growth through strategic OEM relationships and digital transformation initiatives. You will combine technical expertise with strong relationship management to expand market presence.

You will develop medium-to-long-term sales strategies, deliver compelling presentations, and partner with channel networks to achieve and exceed targets while providing tailored, high-impact solutions.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in field sales and account management.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to develop strategic sales plans.
  • Experience meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • 7-10 years in automation and industrial controls (PLC, HMI, VFD, motion control).

What will you do:
  • Build and nurture relationships with assigned OEM accounts through strategic field interactions, maximizing business potential while supporting their digital transformation journey
  • Develop and execute medium to long-term sales strategies to protect, grow, and diversify customer relationships
  • Conduct face-to-face sales meetings, delivering compelling presentations and product demonstrations to both new and existing customers
  • Create and present tailored sales proposals that address specific customer needs and provide innovative solutions
  • Develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions.
  • Collaborate with channel partners to achieve sales targets and expand market presence
  • Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customers.
  • Sell products requiring extensive technical expertise and support for installation and use, such as material handling equipment, numerical-control machinery, or computer systems.
  • Plan and modify product configurations to meet customer needs.
  • Value engineer the best technical solutions that meets the customers needs
  • Present various technical architectures that fit the customers parameters for machine design
  • Successfully describe the benefits of programming software to control hardware and systems

  • Proven track record in field sales and account management, particularly in face-to-face selling environments
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to develop strategic sales plans and identify growth opportunities
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting customer relationships
  • Experience in conducting needs assessments and providing tailored solutions to customers
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • 7-10 years of experience in the field of automation and industrial controls, including programmable logic controllers, human-machine interfaces, variable frequency drives, and motion control.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 133,600 - USD 200,400 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
