Maddox is seeking a highly organized OEM Purchase Order Coordinator to support the OEM Purchasing Team in a fast-paced procurement environment. You will create, release, and track OEM POs, ensure accuracy, and manage data such as SOAs, drawings, test reports, and logistics documentation to keep transformer production flowing and on time.
This in-office role includes up to 5% travel. You will collaborate with Purchasing, Customer Service, and Sales to resolve roadblocks and drive supply chain
Maddox is the nation’s leading provider of electrical transformers to the commercial and industrial market, with primary locations in South Carolina, Washington State, Texas, Idaho, and Ohio. We have been recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest-growing companies in America for the past 8 years and counting.
Maddox was founded on Christian values, and we are serious about investing in the people, processes, and culture that make this a great place to work. We build real things, solve real problems, and expect professionalism, competence, and integrity from our team.
As a Maddox OEM Purchase Order Coordinator, you will report to the Supplier Relations Manager, under direction of the OEM Purchasing Team Lead, in a fast-paced and highly dynamic procurement environment. Your work will focus on assisting our OEM Purchasing Representative(s) and OEM Supply Planner(s) with the execution and flow of both stock and made-to-order (MTO) purchase orders–ensuring continuous transformer production and timely delivery.
Your day-to-day activities will involve managing OEM PO creation, accuracy, release, and tracking. As a result, you will have direct responsibility for our commercial supply orders from inception until final delivery–ensuring that the “right” transformers are ordered, from the “right” OEMs, in the “right” quantities, at the “right” time, and delivered to the “right” location(s).
You will also manage system data related to these objectives by cataloging: product specs, OEM Sales Order Acknowledgments (SOAs), record drawings, test reports, and logistics documentation. When significant order milestones are reached, or roadblocks are encountered, you will be responsible to notify stakeholders within our OEM Purchasing, Customer Service, and Sales departments and work with them towards positive solutions.
Additionally, as needs arise, you will be a valuable contributor in exciting new stock product launches and supply chain operational efficiency projects.
