Job description

Join us in pioneering breakthroughs in healthcare. For everyone. Everywhere. Sustainably. Our inspiring and caring environment forms a global community that celebrates diversity and individuality. We encourage you to step beyond your comfort zone, offering resources and flexibility to foster your professional and personal growth, all while valuing your unique contributions.

Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Ownership & Business Performance
  • Manage the OEM portfolio with full responsibility for results - revenue, cost, margin, mix, contract capture, and renewal performance against plan
  • Define customer and market requirements, growth and profit strategies, business planning, and portfolio road mapping for all OEM offerings
  • Drive business performance across the lifecycle in cooperation with partners across the full process chain (PLM / SCM / CRM), with clear separation between product management accountability, process governance, and operational execution
  • Build the business case for new OEM offerings, coverage models, and replacement or expansion programs, with clear financial justification and recommendation
Vendor Management & Agreements
  • Own the commercial relationship with OEM service vendors, including agreement negotiation, amendments, renewals, scope of work, and service level definition
  • Lead joint business reviews with strategic vendors covering installed base and data integrity, warranty vs. contract vs. T&M process, operational performance, escalations, and areas of focus
  • Build and maintain vendor scorecards; hold vendors accountable to contracted deliverables and elevate performance gaps with supporting evidence
  • Define business requirements and governance for vendor transitions and migrations - including provider onboarding criteria, pilot expectations, de‑scoping recommendations, and customer‑impact considerations - while partnering with Operations and S2P teams for execution of onboarding, PM notification, communication steps, and workflow implementation
Pricing & Margin Discipline
  • Define and maintain OEM pricing strategy, including cost-to-price alignment, annual and CPI escalation logic, margin targets, and renewal pricing integrity
  • Identify where standard corporate pricing actions conflict with pre‑negotiated OEM vendor agreements and bring forward a documented recommendation rather than a problem statement
  • Ensure vendor cost increases are appropriately reflected in customer pricing at the correct point in the agreement cycle, avoiding stacked or duplicate increases
  • Partner with pricing, finance, and CPQ teams to close system gaps that erode realized price at renewal
Installed Base & Delivery Integrity
  • Set portfolio requirements and governance expectations for OEM installed‑base accuracy - including active/inactive functional location status, billing status, parent/child relationships, and contract coverage - while partnering with Operations and data owners accountable for maintaining day‑to‑day system accuracy
  • Define the business requirements and escalation path for warranty‑to‑contract conversion visibility so vendors receive timely notification for PM delivery, while Operations and S2P own execution of the notification workflow and related process controls
  • Monitor portfolio‑level PM delivery trends, coverage gaps, and customer or financial exposure; elevate systemic issues with supporting data and partner with Operations on corrective actions rather than owning day‑to‑day PM delivery execution
  • Support and prioritize automation needs for vendor notification and reporting processes by defining requirements, business value, and success measures, while the responsible Operations and S2P teams own solution development, implementation, and ongoing execution
  • Ensure role clarity across Product Management, Operations, S2P, Procurement, and vendor teams so strategic portfolio accountability does not become default ownership of operational workflows that should reside within execution functions
Field Enablement & Commercial Growth
  • Define OEM marketing strategy - offering, price, placement, and promotion - including targeted T&M, parts, and coverage campaigns aimed at net‑new revenue
  • Develop field‑facing collateral, playbook content, and quoting guidance that service sales teams adopt and use
  • Support channel partner and telemarketing motions with vetted, revenue‑accretive offers
  • Serve as subject matter expert and escalation point for zones, RSMs, and service sales on OEM coverage, deliverables, and vendor issues
Strategic Alignment & Collaboration
  • Report directly to the Head of SBM, ensuring OEM portfolio decisions align with NAM service business strategy and financial goals
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Operations, Source‑to‑Pay and Procurement, Finance, Legal, Service Sales, and Zone leadership to build alignment before executing changes that touch customers
  • Communicate findings, recommendations, and trade‑offs clearly and concisely to leadership and stakeholders
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required; business, engineering, or technical field preferred
  • 7+ years in product management, service portfolio management, vendor or category management, or service sales - preferably in medical imaging, medical devices, or complex B2B service environments
  • Direct ownership of portfolio‑level financial performance, including accountability for revenue, cost, and margin outcomes
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating and administering third‑party or OEM service agreements, including pricing structures, service levels, and contract amendments
  • Strong working knowledge of service contracts, warranty terms, T&M economics, and installed‑base data and how each moves margin
  • Proven ability to manage external vendors to committed performance and to make defensible sourcing and transition decisions
  • Ability to synthesize fragmented service, financial, and operational data into a clear recommendation for leadership
  • Proven influence across operations, finance, procurement, sales, and zone leadership in a matrixed organization without formal authority, including credibility with field teams
  • Proficiency with CRM/CPQ, SAP, and business intelligence reporting tools preferred
  • Comfortable operating across many vendors and stakeholders simultaneously, with a bias toward resolving issues rather than routing them.

(Reports to: Head of Service Business Management (SBM), NAM • Individual Contributor)

Why This Role Matters
  • Protects and grows a distinct revenue stream that sits outside the core Siemens Healthineers modality portfolio
  • Directly shapes the customer experience on equipment Siemens does not manufacture but is fully accountable to support
  • Reduces financial and contractual exposure by ensuring vendors deliver what customers have already paid for
  • Creates a single owner for a portfolio that spans many vendors, zones, and internal functions
What You Bring
  • Business and financial acumen, with the ability to turn data into a decision
  • Customer‑first orientation balanced with disciplined cost and margin management
  • Confidence negotiating with external partners and holding them to commitments
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity across multiple vendors, modalities, and stakeholders
  • Clear, concise communication with field teams, zone leadership, and executive stakeholders
