Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ODI mappings, procedures, and load plans for data integration.
• Develop PL/SQL queries and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot ODI workflows, jobs, and data pipelines in Linux environments.
• Perform root cause analysis for failures related to workflows, network connectivity, and file transfers.
• Automate tasks using Python and Linux scripting, and optimize ETL workflows.
• Maintain documentation and participate in code reviews and walk-throughs.
• Resolve production issues, conduct technical research, and provide feedback on designs.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience with ODI, Oracle PL/SQL, Linux, Python scripting, and ODI admin module.
• Strong skills in data modeling, PL/SQL queries, and development practices (unit testing, CI/CD).
• Experience with Bitbucket/GIT, debugging, and troubleshooting using logs.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (Jira).

Preferred Experience

• Experience in Private Banking and financial services.
• Knowledge of financial applications (e.g., FIS AddVantage, CRD, CRM Pivotal).
• Experience with Apache Airflow, dbt, or cloud data platforms.
