Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with diesel engines, heavy equipment, or power-generation systems, and are able to work on-site in Odessa, TX with attention to safety and thorough record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with diesel engines, diesel generators, heavy equipment, or power generation.
• Volvo diesel engine experience is a plus.
• Ability to safely work on-site in Odessa, TX and around operating power-generation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel generator sets and related mechanical equipment.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair diesel engine and generator issues.
• Work with fuel, cooling, lubrication, air intake, exhaust, starting, and auxiliary systems.
• Monitor equipment conditions and report leaks, abnormal temperatures, or vibration.
• Maintain accurate inspection and maintenance records and tidy work areas.
• Support startup, shutdown, and readiness activities for the generator system.
