Job summary

Empower Manufacturing is seeking an OD Grinder Operator to join our precision-focused team in Moraine, OH. You will set up and operate CNC and manual OD grinders, read drawings, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances using micrometers, gauges, and indicators.

The role offers a 4-day work week with optional overtime, competitive hourly pay of $20–$30, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401K match, and paid time off from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience operating manual OD grinders.
• Ability to read customer drawings and specifications with high accuracy.
• Proficiency with micrometers, Arnold gauges, snap gauges, and dial indicators.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and/or manual OD grinders.
• Read and interpret customer drawings, prints, and specifications to meet production requirements.
• Use micrometers, Arnold gauges, snap gauges, and dial indicators to inspect and measure workpieces.
• Dress grinding wheels to maintain quality and surface finish.
• Ensure runout and diameter specifications are met.
• Follow work orders with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Frequently lift and move materials as required.

Work Schedule:
