Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network, the region’s largest health system and a major teaching hospital, is seeking BC/BE ophthalmologists fellowship-trained in oculoplastic/orbit to join its academic faculty.

Responsibilities include clinical care, teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activities. Depending on interests, there may be an opportunity to contribute to developing the Division of Oculoplastic within the new Department of Ophthalmology at SLUHN.

Qualifications

• BC/BE ophthalmologist with fellowship in oculoplastic/orbit.
• Academic or teaching experience preferred.
• Interest in scholarly activities and program development.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical ophthalmology care.
• Teach and supervise residents and medical students.
• Engage in scholarly activities and contribute to division development.

(SLUHN), the regions largest, most established health system, a major teaching hospital, and one of the nations 100 Top Hospitals is seeking BC/BE subspecialty Ophthalmologists fellowship-trained in Oculoplastic/Orbit. Successful candidates have an opportunity to join an established and dedicated community of faculty, colleagues, and students at the Temple/St. Lukes School of Medicine. Duties will include clinical care, teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activities. Also, in collaboration with the Network and Chair of Ophthalmology - and depending on their skillset and interest - those joining SLUHN may assist as one of the architects in the development of the Division of Oculoplasticwithin the new Department of Ophthalmology at SLUHN.
