Loyola University Health System (LUHS) invites applications for a full-time Clinical Educator Track ophthalmologist fellowship-trained in oculofacial plastic surgery. The expected academic rank is Assistant Professor or higher, with salary commensurate with experience.

The role emphasizes teaching, multidisciplinary collaboration with ENT, Neurosurgery, Neurology, Trauma, and Maxillofacial Surgery, and opportunities across Loyola's academic and clinical networks in Maywood and Burr Ridge.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited ophthalmology residency.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology.
• Fellowship in Oculofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
• Eligible for an unrestricted Illinois medical license.
• Demonstrated excellence in patient care, teaching, and academic engagement.
• Interest and experience in clinical research.

Responsibilities

• Expand a busy oculoplastic practice to meet regional demand.
• Collaborate with ENT, Neurosurgery, Neurology, Trauma and Maxillofacial Surgery.
• Teach Loyola Ophthalmology Residency Program and oculoplastics rotation.
• Support research and academic engagement.
