Job summary

Leoforce in Longview, TX seeks a Threading Production Manager to lead high-volume OCTG threading operations across two lines with four CNC threaders. You will mentor a growing team from 4 direct reports to 50 as production ramps, ensuring top-quality GBCD and API-compliant threads.

Responsibilities include implementing inspection protocols, driving throughput, coordinating with quality and maintenance, and promoting a safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years OCTG threading leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of semi-premium connections (GBCD preferred).
• Proficient with CNC threading machines; Puma experience a plus.
• Experience managing large teams in 24/6, high-volume manufacturing.
• Relocation to East Texas required with relocation package.

Responsibilities

• Lead OCTG threading operations across two lines, with four CNC threaders.
• Mentor 4 direct reports and a team of 25+, expanding to 50 as production ramps.
• Oversee GBCD or semi-premium threads, ensuring API/premium compliance.
• Implement and enforce inspection protocols using gauges and optical comparators.
• Drive production efficiency in a 20-24/5 operation, transitioning to 24/6.
• Collaborate with quality and maintenance to troubleshoot issues and keep equipment ready.
• Promote a safety-first culture, conduct safety meetings, address hazards.
• Monitor performance metrics, track cycle times, and drive throughput improvements.
