Job summary

Safety Management Group seeks an experienced HSE Advisor with OCIP experience in Folgelsville, Pennsylvania. The role focuses on loss control for OCIP programs, claims support, and contractor safety oversight in a dynamic industrial setting.

The ideal candidate has 5–10+ years of related experience and a degree in Environmental Health and Safety, with strong ability to interpret safety codes and regulations to ensure compliance across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related field.
• 5–10+ years of related work experience.
• Experience with Owner Controlled Insurance Programs (OCIP).
• Ability to interpret codes, standards, regs, and laws in practice.

Responsibilities

• Serve as loss control representative for OCIP.
• Assist with claims management and healthcare provider relations.
• Monitor OCIP enrollment and ensure FROI submission.
• Provide HSE support to customers and contract firms.
• Act as liaison between customer and contractors.
• Support Responsible Host.
• Participate in HSE pre-planning and meetings.
• Interpret OSHA, IOSHA, and other safety standards.
• Review Prime Contractor HSE plans for compliance and updates.
• Monitor CHSEMP performance and contractor safety progress.
• Keep stakeholders informed on contractor qualification status.
