Job summary

TechDigital Group is seeking an experienced OCI Security Engineer in Phoenix to design, implement, and maintain secure OCI environments. The role emphasizes policy-as-code, IaC, governance, and automation to deliver secure-by-default cloud platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong OCI security services experience, Terraform, and cloud governance frameworks, collaborating across engineering, security, and operations to strengthen the OCI security posture while enabling scalable cloud

Qualifications

• 5+ years with OCI or Oracle DB/Cloud administration.
• Hands-on OCI experience and security controls implementation.
• Experience with Terraform and IaC practices.
• Experience with Policy-as-Code and Sentinel or similar tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and cloud operations capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure OCI environments across enterprise cloud platforms.
• Develop and enforce Policy-as-Code frameworks using Sentinel and native cloud controls.
• Build and manage IaC solutions using Terraform for automated provisioning and configuration.
• Strengthen security controls across IAM, networking, storage, compute, logging, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with security and CNAPP teams to establish guardrails and secure-by-default configurations.
• Secure Oracle PaaS environments and ensure data protection across services.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve OCI and PaaS issues with long-term fixes.
• Develop automation to improve security monitoring and incident response.
