Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced OCI Security Consultant for remote work across the U.S. You will design, implement, and operate security controls in OCI and hybrid environments, shaping security architecture and hardening workloads.

Applicants should have 6+ years of cloud security experience, strong OCI skills, and hands-on expertise with IAM, Cloud Guard, and Data Safe. Telework is supported; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Five+ years of cloud security experience with hands-on OCI.
• Deep experience with OCI Identity, IAM policies, and identity federation.
• Hands-on experience with OCI Cloud Guard, Security Zones, Vault, and Data Safe.
• Knowledge of cloud-native security frameworks and CIS benchmarks.
• Experience with vulnerability management and patching tooling.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and Terraform.
• Experience integrating cloud workloads with SIEM platforms.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate OCI security controls across OCI and Oracle apps.
• Define security architecture and harden cloud workloads.
• Manage identity and access across environments.
• Lead vulnerability management and regulatory compliance programs.
• Respond to security incidents and coordinate remediation.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and operations teams to translate requirements into engineered solutions.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experiencedOracle Cloud Security Engineerresponsible for designing, implementing, andoperatingsecurity controls across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Cloud Applications, and hybrid Oracle environments. In this role you will define security architecture, harden cloud workloads, manage identity and access, lead vulnerability and compliance programs, and respond to security incidents. The ideal candidate will combine deep technicalexpertisein OCI security services with strong experience in cloud-native security frameworks, regulatory compliance, and threat detection. In this role you will work closely with cross-functional partners — product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders — to translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineeredsolutions, andwill be expected to raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship of more junior engineers. The successful candidate brings strong engineering discipline, a clear communication style, anda track recordof shipping meaningful work that holds up well in production.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle Cloud Security Professional certification.
• CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent industry security certifications.
• Experience with multi‑cloud security architectures.
• Familiarity with SOAR platforms and automated incident response.
• Exposure to zero‑trust architecture patterns.
