Job summary

Heritage Village of Waterville, part of Certus Healthcare, seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support rehabilitation goals for residents. You will assist therapists, help residents with activities, document progress, and collaborate with the care team in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

The role is PRN with a starting pay of $30 an hour, typically Monday through Friday with flexible start/end times based on caseload and area coverage.

Qualifications

• OTA certification from an accredited program is required.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy and medical terminology.
• Excellent communication and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans.
• Support residents in daily activities to enhance independence.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the OT.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress notes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

The typical schedule for this opportunity is Monday through Friday with flexible start and end times based on caseload. This opportunity is a PRN position but may require you to see clients at multiple communities in a dedicated area.
