Job summary

Medical Office Force, LLC is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide therapeutic interventions under the supervision of a licensed therapist. You will follow a written plan of care to meet established goals and participate in discharge planning while communicating patient progress per licensure and policies.

You may supervise clinical students, support staff and volunteers, fostering a caring environment that promotes health and healing. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience relevant to the role.
• Minimum education and training in occupational therapy assistant programs.
• Basic computer literacy skills.
• Licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of practice.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administers treatment under supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
• Contributes to discharge planning, including patient/family education, follow-up, and community resource referrals
• Supports staff and student development
• Engages in activities aimed at improving healthcare delivery
• Completes assigned goals efficiently
