Job summary

Palo Duro Nursing Home is seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house therapy team. We care for residents with orthopedic and neurological conditions and offer opportunities to develop cognition, functional maintenance, ADLs, and creative group activities.

We provide ongoing training, a growing outpatient program, and PRN schedules. Vital Therapy emphasizes a fun, high-energy team and a commitment to quality care for our patients.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in Texas.
• Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary in-house therapy team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver OTA services to residents as part of the in-house therapy team.
• Develop programs addressing cognition, functional maintenance, and ADLs.
• Support ongoing training and participate in expanding outpatient services.

Palo Duro Nursing Home, a skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation center, is seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our dedicated in-house therapy team. We seek an OTA who is passionate about delivering the best care to our patients and residents and who wants to be part of a fun, high energy inter-disciplinary therapy team. We see a wide range of orthopedic and neurological conditions and offer you opportunities to develop programs in cognition, functional maintenance, ADL's and creative fun groups. In addition, we provide on-going training and career development opportunities and are in the process of building an outpatient program. PRN schedules also available! PRN schedules also available!
