Job summary

Vital Therapy – Avir at Tomball is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join the in-house therapy team at our skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation center in Tomball, TX. The OTA will help patients with cognition, mobility, and self-care, guiding successful returns home and contributing to ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in Texas.
• Eligible to practice as OTA in a facility setting.
• Active license in good standing with the state board.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-house occupational therapy services within the skilled nursing/post-acute setting.
• Develop individualized programming for cognition, functional mobility, self-care, and home return.
• Collaborate with the in-house therapy team to support patient progress and discharge planning.
