Job summary

Concept Rehab, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) for a full-time role in Traverse City, Michigan. You will work closely with an Occupational Therapist to deliver patient-centered care in a post-acute rehabilitation setting.

You'll support ADLs, mobility training, and adaptive techniques while educating patients and families. This role offers a collaborative culture, ongoing CE opportunities, and strong support for professional growth in a thriving rehab team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Michigan COTA/OTA license or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in SNF, post-acute care, rehabilitation, long-term care, home health, or outpatient therapy is a plus, but not required.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Implementing individualized treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist.
• Assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), self-care skills, upper extremity function, balance, coordination, and mobility.
• Educating patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Documenting patient progress accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborating with OTs, PTs, PTAs, SLPs, nursing staff, and physicians.
• Encouraging patients to reach their highest level of independence and function.

What You'll Do
