Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant to provide rehabilitative interventions under supervision, assisting patients with cognitive and physical functioning disorders and documenting progress in our clinical system.

The full-time position requires at least 1 year of OTA experience, LTC or rehabilitation settings, and a valid COTA license. ARMStaffing offers comprehensive benefits and support services to its staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.
• Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Rehabilitation settings.
• Valid COTA license required.

Responsibilities

• Administer rehabilitation procedures as part of patient treatment plans including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, and use of assistive devices.
• Assess patient progress and collaborate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to modify treatment plans as required.
• Document all treatment and progress in the electronic documentation system in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice standards.
• Provide consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding cognitive and physical disorders.
• Participate in care conferences, utilization review meetings, and other required training and in-services.
• Support and supervise students under the direction of the Occupational Therapist.
