Job summary

Laramie Health and Rehabilitation in Laramie, Wyoming seeks a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our fast-paced team. You will provide direct care to residents, implement treatment plans, and document progress under supervision of an OT/RM.

Responsibilities include maintaining productivity, participating in discharge planning, and contributing to RAFT activities, with adherence to state guidelines and safety procedures. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current licensure in State of practice where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Comply with state practice act and AOTA guidelines.
• Provide direct care to residents on OT caseload.
• Implement treatment plans set up by OTR.
• Participate in quality improvement activities.
• Identify and advise RM of issues needing attention.
• Review caseload with supervising OTR as per guidelines.
• Document supervision activities in resident charts.
• Participate in discharge planning related to caseload and OTR programs.
• Participate in RAFT activities.
• Maintain productivity as directed by RM.
• Self-monitor daily productivity.
• Attend resident/family and center meetings as requested by RM.
• Follow policies on emergencies, infection control, and safety.
• Maintain consistent hours of service.
• Document and sign each treatment encounter.
• Write progress notes as directed by OTR or RM.
